About Douglas
I joined McGowan Environmental Engineering in July 2016 and my role has continually evolved as the company has expanded.
As Civil Engineering Projects Manager, I oversee all on-site civils operations and am responsible for health and safety, labour resource, equipment and quality standards across a variety of projects.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs and we can often be found out walking, cycling and adventuring to new places.
I've been a volunteer with the RNLI since 2013 and am currently a Helm and Launch tractor driver at Kessock Lifeboat. I'm also a lifelong member of the Scout Association in Inverness and am the Camp Chief of a National Scout Camp.
