The existing estate bridge located in Glencoe required replacing and a new bridge was proposed . The bridge location was adjacent to the West Highland Way, a popular route for walkers and tourists thus pedestrian safety during the construction works was imperative.

Project entailed the initial removal of the existing bridge and old concrete abutments.

The new concrete bridge abutments and wing walls were formed before 4nr galvanised steel beams 7.34 metres in length being installed with traverse equal angle steel braces to provide the main bridge support structure.

Hardwood timber was used to provide the finished bridge structure.

The project also included remedial repairs to a second estate bridge consisting of riprap scour protection to abutments and new timber handrails.
